I’ve been sitting on my bed, computer on my lap, putting together this blog.  Trying to keep up with my life through technology is a bit of a challenge since there never seems to be enough time.   I still need to write blogs for our cousins trip to Yosemite back in February, my trip to Zion in June, my trip to San Luis Obispo in the summer of 2006…so many trips, so little time to write about them! Not to mention the thousands of photographs that I still need to edit–there just isn’t enough time.  I sometimes wish that I didn’t need to sleep for eight hours.  Then I could get more accomplished.  But I always seem to want to do more in this life.  Thoreau did admonish us to “simplify, simplify!” our lives.  But how simple should our lives be?  There is simply too much in life that I would like to do, it’s just a matter of prioritizing.   

Ah, it’s late and way past my bedtime.  The time on my computer reads 11:06 pm and I must wake tomorrow and return to work after having this past week off for Thanksgiving vacation.  Besides, my back is complaining after sitting on my bed for the last four hours working setting up this blog.
